My dad taught me a lot about life, but it wasn’t until I became a father myself that some of those lessons really started to sink in. He spent a lifetime chasing big dreams, but somehow never lost sight of the people he was doing it for. The older I get, the more I appreciate that. Showing up for my kids, celebrating their wins, and being present for the little things has become one of the greatest joys of my life. #HappyFathersDay
Don’t attack me but I’m afraid that the recent article about the increase of overweight/obese J’cans is actually true. I was stuck in traffic and was just looking around-it’s obvious. We need to ban sugary drinks or whatever is causing this
If we don’t invest in the Caribbean today then who is going to own it tomorrow?
We need to pool our Caribbean Diaspora capital into companies and funds just like foreign investors do and then invest in the region at scale.

I believe we have the ability to take charge of our destiny, chart our own course, and build the future we want. That is what independence means, having the confidence to pursue our goals and realize our potential as a nation.
We must embrace a culture of innovation, productivity, and excellence. This change cannot come from government alone. It requires the involvement of our communities, businesses, creatives, and young people. Our music, culture, and everyday actions all have a role to play in shaping how we think about success and national development.
I want Jamaica to be known as a country that is productive, efficient, safe, secure, and full of people who believe in their ability to achieve and succeed.
Yesterday was a truly enjoyable day at the Jamaica Diaspora Conference in Montego Bay. 🇯🇲
It was a pleasure engaging with members of our diaspora to interact with members of our diaspora, hearing their perspectives, learning about their experiences, and seeing the passion they continue to have for Jamaica, no matter where they now call home.
I also spent time exploring the various booths and exhibits from both the public and private sectors. From innovation and entrepreneurship to national development initiatives, there was so much to learn and discover throughout the day.
The conversations, connections, and shared pride in Jamaica made for a memorable experience and served as a powerful reminder that our Jamaican family extends far beyond our shores.
Jamaican Diaspora: An interesting map, but it doesn’t give the full picture. The numbers presented correspond to residents of those countries born in Jamaica. Missing are their descendants, and Jamaicans living in other countries, most significantly tens of thousands in Caribbean neighbours. #Jamaica #Caribbean
This father couldn't afford treatment for his son. So every morning, he takes him to the beach and buries him halfway in the ground, upright.
This is to help him build lower body strength so that he can learn to stand and walk.
