WATCH: “Are you really talking about January 6th? I’m not.”
At her absurd 🎪 presser about the pool @JudgeJeanine Pirro refuses to answer a VERY VALID question about how they can prosecute someone for touching the pool when they pardoned everyone who attacked the Capitol
“This is how Trump hijacked 🇺🇸’s birthday.”
@RepHuffman explains Trump turned a nonpartisan 250th celebration into a way to steal hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars + take bribes from corporations & foreign governments.
Endless corruption. Even the fair is a grift.
This is why people built guillotines.
GOP Rep. Troy Nehls, when asked about 60% of Americans struggling with affordability: "Affordability? What are you talking about?... I'm gonna get me a couple of big lobster tails. I'm gonna get me some nice rib eyes... Maybe the 60% of Americans don't work as hard as I do."
#BREAKING: Psaki: “Do you remember last year when Trump announced his massive across the board tariffs…He called it liberation day, it actually led to a stock market crash. That liberation day announcement was made on April 2nd of last year, and Trump’s financial disclosures show that he made 327 stock purchases six days later, on April 8th, while the market was down…So he makes those purchases on April 8th. The next morning, just after the market opened, he told his followers on Truth social: ‘THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY.’ Hours later, he paused his tariffs and the stock market had a historic rally, so historic in fact, it represented the biggest single day gain in the history of the Bloomberg billionaires index. To put it simply, it appears an official act by Trump cratered the stock market. Trump then bought the dip and then used another official act to bring the price of the market back up. Trump of course insists that all his stock transactions are handled by his two adult sons [@EricTrump & @DonaldJTrumpJr] without his involvement or knowledge of the individual trades carried out on his behalf. When asked about the timing of these specific trades, the White House told us tonight that President Trump only acts in the best interests of the American public, saying there was no conflict of interest. The White House also directed us to the Trump Organization. We’ve reached out to them, but we haven’t heard [anything] back.”🤦♀️
Ansari: I didn’t think I could be shocked by anything he does, but he was literally handed a bipartisan housing bill that would lower costs on a silver platter. It was such an easy win for him at a time when he’s so unpopular because of his cover-up of the Epstein files and this illegal war he screwed up. He could’ve said, “I did this big housing bill,” and because he is so committed to rigging the election, he chose to blow it all up. Their party is a mess. Trump is a joke.
Host: Trump is still very fascinated with you and your family
@BarackObama: I obviously have a room in his head. A suite. When I was president, the last thing I had time to do was worry what my predecessor did. It shows me somebody who is not focused on the American people and the job they're supposed to do.
REPUBLICAN SEN. TILLIS: “What Freakin’ parallel universe did I wake up in? You’re telling me — if it’s true — damaging the reflecting pool lining is something Pirro wants to prosecute… yet they’re releasing people who pled guilty to assaulting officers?”
@TheTNHoller@BadrobotLinda@SenThomTillis You missed the best, Trump drove the 8 - 10 ton beast along with his entire motorcade across the bottom of the reflecting pool reportedly before the coating had cured and with so much weight he damaged the base. #retatrutide
BREAKING: Protests in Albania are escalating, with demonstrators now calling for the resignation of the entire government amid growing anger over the proposed Kushner-Ivanka Trump development project.
What began as opposition to a luxury development is rapidly turning into a broader political crisis.
trump put fencing & a blue tarp around the Reflecting Pool. He figures there’s nothing he can’t “fix” by covering it up. Like his name being removed from the Kennedy Center. Or the Epstein files, because he raped children. So many coverups, so little time.
BREAKING: Scott Pelley Just Made A Pretty Stunning Allegation.
According to Pelley, CBS leadership wanted a story about the killing of ICE protester Renée Good changed to better match Trump's version of events.
Pelley says he was told management wanted protesters portrayed as more violent and wanted Good described as driving toward the officer who shot her. He says the video evidence showed otherwise.
Then came the admission.
"There was a thumb on the scale for the president's version of events."
A veteran journalist with 37 years at CBS is alleging political pressure was applied to change the facts of a story.
That's a remarkable accusation.
#BREAKING: Velshi: “What if I told you this? The Trump administraction had ALREADY spent 50 TIMES that much in taxpayer money to build his ballroom? What if I told you Trump had already taken $50 billion out of the U.S. treasury and spent it, all as part of what looks very much like a pay to play scheme to finance his vanity project? And I’m not making this up, a brand new report from the government watchdog group Public Citizen looked into the private donors who are supposedly funding the Trump ballroom as a gift. Guess what their investigation found? ‘More than half of the publicly identified donors…have won new or expanded federal contracts worth more $50 billion during the past six months.’ The report also found that most of the same companies are also facing federal enforcement actions over alleged wrongdoing and that some have had such actions suspended by the Trump administration since the start of Trump’s second term.”🙄
Trump is now reportedly responsible for roughly 27.7% of the entire U.S. national debt accumulated under all presidents combined.
That is an astonishing figure historically.
The national debt just crossed $39 trillion.
President Trump has added roughly $12–13 trillion to the debt across his two terms in office.
That’s approximately 30% of ALL U.S. national debt accumulated since 1789.
In 2016, Trump said he would pay down the national debt “over a period of eight years.”
Instead:
- First term: +$7.8 trillion
- Second term: roughly +$4–5 trillion already
And yes, COVID affected first-term spending.
It does not explain adding another trillion dollars every five months without a pandemic.
A political movement built on:
“fiscal conservatism”
“small government”
“balanced budgets”
has now overseen the largest debt expansion tied to any single presidency in American history.
