WBCADC KVK BANKURA organized one day workshop with FPOs/FPCs of Bankura District with presence of Hon'ble Secretary (DARE) & Director General of ICAR, Hon'ble MIC of P&RD, Principal Scientist of ICAR , Administrative Secretary, WBCADC and other dignitaries on 16 December, 2022.

The most millet yield can be harvested during the rabi season (Oct-Mar) and summer season (Jan-Apr). It requires very less water compared to rice and wheat, hence considered a drought-tolerant crop.
