Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Tarlac, Pampanga, Bataan, Cavite and Quezon within the next 2 hours.
Heavy to intense rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are being experienced in Metro Manila(Quezon City, Caloocan, Valenzuela, Malabon), Bulacan(Dona Remedios Trinidad), Zambales(San Marcelino, Subic), Batangas(Balayan, Lemery, Calaca), Laguna(Pangil, Pakil, Siniloan, Pagsanjan, Lumban, Kalayaan, Santa Cruz) and Rizal(Antipolo, Tanay) which may persist within 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.
All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.

ADVISORY
28 April 2024 - In view of the latest heat index forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) and the announcement of a nationwide transport strike, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on April 29 and 30, 2024.
Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.
However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled, provided that measures for the safety of all participants have been carefully considered.
Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.
