Fun Fact: The DEA's Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) investigated Jeffrey Epstein under Operation Chain Reaction for drug trafficking, prostitution, and money laundering.

Out of it came a 69-page memo from May 2015 naming Epstein and 14 associates tied to suspicious wire transfers. Marked unclassified.

Senator Ron Wyden asked for the unredacted version. The DEA was ready to hand it over. Then Todd Blanche personally blocked it. Todd Blanche then dismantled OCDETF entirely. The same unit that had been in existence for 43 years. The same unit that caught El Chapo. They no longer exist.
