Dr. Dipti received this honor for her research titled “Beyond the Retina: Hemostatic Dysregulation and Thrombo-Inflammatory Pathways in Retinal Vein Occlusion,” a study that sheds new light on the systemic mechanisms underlying retinal vascular diseases.
Dr. Dipti, Resident under the guidance of Prof. Deepak Mishra, Regional Institute of Ophthalmology & Prof. D. Dash, Dept. of Biochemistry, Institute of Medical Sciences, has been awarded Dr. Mohanlal Gold Medal at Uttar Pradesh State Ophthalmological Society Annual Conference.
Dr. Riya Srivastava, JR-Ophthalmology got financial support from the Dept. of Health Research, MoHWF, GOI, for the study "Comparison of Advanced Glycation End Products & Its Receptor Levels In Diabetic Retinopathy Patients" under the mentorship of Prof. Deepak Mishra, IMS-BHU.
Prof. Mishra has been honoured for his research on the significance of DDLS (Disc Damage Likelihood Scale) in glaucoma. Beyond this accolade, Prof. Mishra served as the Convener of the Surgical Skills Transfer Courses (SSTC).

I am pleased and grateful to Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust Chitrakoot for conferring this honor and Gold medal upon me in recognition of my dedication to Indian Ophthalmology.
The award recognizes Prof. Mishra's contribution in training thousands of residents & young ophthalmologists across India over the past decade. The conference, held from April 2nd to 6th, 2025, at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, is among the significant events in ophthalmology.
