@aabbyn_@pndgetsmewttter its proximity talk… that’s all… if you’re in London & someone asks where you’re from you’ll say the area, not london as it is probably obvious… but if you’re in brazil for e.g. you’re gonna say england or even europe… african heritage doesn’t mean u identify w every culture
@aabbyn_@pndgetsmewttter the europeans named every word in the english language fam doesnt really make it negative or refer to those negative connotations esp in the 21st century where most people recognise the continent we originate from as “africa”… its just a simple noun to identify folks from there
@year10sucksszz@pwuupyy my hiring manager was interviewing a potential new colleague and when he left my hiring manager was like “he’s a great candidate but i think his indian accent is a bit strong”
@OctoberRust1984@croydonspm i think you’re just unsure on the meaning of nationality… no black person is claiming britain as part of their heritage… we don’t wanna be u at all brother
@alinapixels@peydona1@RMBRTHETlME@farcicalthought chinese folks torturing black children on camera as we speak btw && they never fucked w us unless they want dreadlocks let’s wipe those tears
