I’m going to miss my players but I’ll be following them next season and beyond!
I’m retiring from coaching for my son’s last two HS seasons & gonna just be a dad on the other side of the fence. But I’ll be back in the dugout in a couple of years. I love it too much.
I coached the final game for my travel team yesterday. Four years, 18 players, 73 wins, 3 tournament wins, 2 second place finishes, a lot of thrilling wins and heartbreaking losses, and a lot of growth, fun, and awesome memories.
“The greatest motivator in the world is your ass on the bench. Ass meets bench, bench retains ass, ass transmits signals to the brain, brain transmits signals to the body, body gets ass off bench and plays better. It's a hell of a sequence.”
- Bobby Knight
Barrett Fuller ('28, IN) lets this ball get deep onto the plate before throwing barrel to ball. Defends the plate well and lifts this pitch to the deep opposite field corner and legs out a 3B. #AllCollegeSeries#PGCrossroads
Abraham Cherry ('28, IN) catches this pitch out front and gets a ton of barrel to ball. Aggressive attack and rotation, lifts this pitch to deep LC for a 2B. #AllCollegeSeries#PGCrossroads
Evan Athans ('28, IN) keeps hands back well during a controlled stride to the pitch. Stays quare w/ the swing and goes right back up the middle for a 2RBI 1B. #AllCollegeSeries#PGCrossroads
Reed Michels ('28, IN) shows a controlled approach to the ball. Front foot gets down followed by top hand strong rotation that is on time finishing out front. Catches good barrel and keeps it fair down the LF line for a 2B that plates 2. #AllCollegeSeries#PGCrossroads
@ConquerSportsIO Lebron and Embiid on the same team, two of the biggest floppers of all time. Going to make an unwatchable brand of basketball even more unwatchable.
@PatrickJCasey@FFBTheGoat69 Beach flag football at the Pro Bowl, but yeah. Brutal. I remember when it happened. Devastating. Injury was so bad they almost had to amputate his leg.
