Reggie Bush says he lost $300,000 in a Panera Bread investment with other NFL players
“I invested with a group of guys, a group of NFL players, into Panera Bread”
“Panera Bread, great franchise, great food. I still like it to this day. But what happened was one of the ladies this guy had put together to basically kind of run the entire operation and the fund, passed away. Once she passed away, things just started to go south”
“Money was getting spent above what they should have been spending, and they ended up running the entire thing into the ground. I lost all my money on that deal. That was about $300,000”
Navigating the D.C. court system requires experience in both local and federal procedures. Whether you are dealing with a civil dispute or regulatory matter, having a local advocate makes the difference. ⚖️🏛️

We've been clear w/ @MayorBowser that we will honor agreements to play at the arenas. Caps & Wiz have the right to pay off the bond in 2027 & end the COA lease early – MSE plans to exercise that right. And the Mystics will play at ESA through 2037 (unless city agrees otherwise).
Opinion: The problem with today’s court is that we have mistaken academic intelligence for the kind of necessary wisdom formed through a long career of varied and distinguished experiences.

@wexleresq That’s for responding. My question is whether it is possible for Congress to decline to expand funding in a way that would prevent the administration of new licenses?
@ECAdmv@MayorBowser@ChmnMendelson The Bill has to go to Congress before the Mayor’s office. Isn’t that correct?
Then the Mayor cannot sign the Bill until that happens. So isn’t the better question when does the Council plan to send the Bill to Congress, so that the Mayor can sign the Bill?
@ECAdmv@MayorBowser@ChmnMendelson I’m just surprised people do not know about this. However if you would like consultation regarding the licensing scheme unveiled in the Medical Cannabis Amendment Act, please contact my office at 1.833.CALLJKW (225-5559)
@ECAdmv@MayorBowser@ChmnMendelson Here is the deal. The City Council voted on the Medical Cannabis Amendment Act of 2022 and passed the Bill on Dec. 6. The Council amended the amendment of Dec. 20. Once the final version is done Bill goes to Congress then the mayor for signature.
