@tvnmaitre “N-no!” Louis says, disgust and irritation filling his chest. “Just leave!” He turns and walks quickly to his bedroom, slamming the door and locking it.

@tvnmaitre Louis pouted. “Can you use your powers? I just want to sleep.”

@tvnmaitre “I can’t…can you—“ he turns around and faces Armand. He was still there, of course he was. “It’s hard to sleep…can you help me with that?”

@tvnmaitre Something rips through Louis and he stops in his tracks and what comes out is “Wait!”

@tvnmaitre Louis rolls his eyes huffs. He gets up from his seat, “You’re being ridiculous. Just leave.” He leaves and begins making his way to thei—no, his bedroom.

@PAULDXLAC “We’re…” he sighs. “We decide when we want to be together.” He shrugs, “Makes things easier.”

@tvnmaitre Louis drags himself back to his seat and sits. Defeated and deflated, “What do you want me to do?”

@PAULDXLAC “Uh—well…that there is complicated. I think we…get along.” Louis says rubbing his shoulder. He considers that he misunderstood, “Are you…asking if we’re still together?”

@PAULDXLAC Louis hums and lovingly responds, “I know.”

@tvnmaitre Louis watches him sit down. “How was I suppose to pretend like everything was normal after what happened?” His nervously twists his mouth with tears threatening to spill over.

Louis rears back more in disbelief and sighs loudly, “𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦?! 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦?!”

@PAULDXLAC Louis laughs, “Cause love is complicated. And maybe Levy life…tolerable.”

@PAULDXLAC Louis nods. “Yes.” After a moment of silence he says, “But it doesn’t always have to be that way. Love can be easier. It should be easier.”

@tvnmaitre Louis is quiet after that. He backs away from Armand, “Were you ever going to tell me the truth?”

@tvnmaitre He didn’t look at Armand’s face, choosing to look down as he spoke to him. He wasn’t going to cry in front of him. At the question Louis lifts his head to look at him. “How could you ask me that? I loved you. You know I did. I loved 𝘺𝘰𝘶."

@tvnmaitre Louis feels his eyes stinging as he looks at him. He looks away, blinking rapidly. “I trusted you. I loved…” he huffs again. “An apology will not fix this.”

@tvnmaitre Louis shot out of his seat, “Moved away?!” He rounded the coffee table separating them. “I was still in Paris, Armand. Where was I gonna go, back to Lestat!?” He couldn’t believe what he was hearing. “Me moving away from you is why you directed a play to kill her 𝘢𝘯𝘥 me?!”

@tvnmaitre “You’re a strong man” Louis says. “A strong vampire. You showed me how strong you were by finding out that me and her killed Lestat without either of us saying a word.” He takes a deep breath, “You could’ve done something. But like you told Daniel…it was me or your coven.”

@tvnmaitre When Armand starts talking it takes everything in Louis not tell him close his mouth and walk away. He listens to every word, biting his tongue and letting Armand have his say. When he’s done with it Louis realizes that an apology…isn’t going to reverse anything.

@tvnmaitre The way Armand looked at him made something inside Louis twist. He huffed and tried to form the meanest remark he could but nothing of sense came out. He slowly walked over to the furthest seat from Armand and sat down. “You got five minutes.”
