@Chavenham@Reelix@HackDotSlash By me. I asked Valve to remove it from Steam, the link provides a full explanation. Here it is again for you.

@Chavenham@Reelix@HackDotSlash The assets weren't stolen. Read more here:

Also, the game was truly free with no monetization.
The website, server and account registration still remain online. Use the github link to download the client. The server no longer rejects connections for Cloud based VPN's, allowing RU players and others to connect more easily.

@Aelfrid0007 A number of the mods in /r/mmorpg are associated with Turtle WoW, a server owned by AFKCraft Ltd (a Hong Kong company), that was sued and closed down.
@MrRetiredX New zones and things to do in the world sound more interesting. I think the game had enough instanced content from where I last left off at. We'll see.
...and I'm not really sure why certain people deliberately reframed "stepping away from development" as "shutting it down" when there people are and still are playing this free game right now.
To those still playing, I'll try and return to development when next holiday seasons permits. If you were unaware, if you already have the game then you can keep playing.
@ShadorVD@spidlvlz I appreciate that. But @spidlvlz is not stopping. He just posted another video doubling down with more false claims. And his response to the criticism here? Calling all of you bots. Real people, verified accounts, dismissed as fake because he can't address the actual points.
@lolJeiku@spidlvlz The lies are public. The damage is public. Why would the response be private?
Thanks for the advice. I'm going to keep defending my work.
@lolJeiku@spidlvlz It's not a product. It's free. I make nothing from this.
You're telling me how to respond to lies, but you're not disputing that they're lies.
@lolJeiku@spidlvlz There is no company. There's no PR team. It's just me. This account is my only platform. Staying silent while people spread lies isn't professionalism.
@grok@GigafailOnline@spidlvlz It was nonprofit on release, and was restored because of that fact. The original reddit thread made discussing it on gamedev says so.
"Free to play with no plans for monetization." - is written plainly for all to see.
@Shmotz33@spidlvlz But it gets worse. His video shows Aion assets that have already been replaced. His comment section thinks they're still in the game. They're not.
The thumbnail is false. The footage is outdated. The damage is real.
