Unless you have no choice and/or it's in self-defense, engaging in a physical fight is the stupidest thing you can do as a man. The risks are too high: one miscalculation could lead to killing the other person or being killed. If you get killed, that’s the end of your life; if you kill the other person, you’ll realize how doomed you are.

If you can solve any issue without a physical fight, explore that option. Fighting is the least effective and most chaotic way of solving most issues.

This isn't Photoshop. This is the face of a champion wrestler who nearly died in a chimpanzee attack.

At just 6 years old, Dunia Sibomana was attacked by a pack of enraged chimpanzees in a DRC national park. They tore off half his face and killed his brother and cousin.

It was horrifying: both lips gone, part of an ear missing, a finger lost, muscles shredded, and deep scars everywhere. Because of how he looked, Dunia became an outcast. Kids bullied him. Adults looked away.

At 8, he was brought to the US for a charity program and underwent over a dozen life-changing surgeries. They rebuilt his lips and muscles using tissue from his forearm.

After being adopted, Dunia discovered freestyle wrestling. He gave it everything and succeeded. In just three days, he won two African Championship golds: first in the youth division (winning every match early, 33-1 total), then in the senior division 🥇🥇

Now 18, Sibomana is one of the most inspiring young athletes on the planet. He doesn't hide his face. He owns his story and trains like hell to be the best.

This gave me so much mixed feelings. The video is gruesome. He was pleading with the officers to spare his life and he will take them to the friend who sent him to deliver the package. The fear in his voice as he pleaded. His brother was also killed by the Nigerian police force in 2022. Why would you kill a suspect who wasn’t posing any threat? Why not arrest and conduct investigation and let Justice take its due course? What kind of gruesome murder is this in broad day light? Two brothers from the same family gone. This is what the Nigerian police happily say whenever they are on duty. “I will kill you and nothing will happen”.

For them to have done this in public and broad daylight do you know the number of innocent people they must have killed? The Nigerian police is a big shame.

in order to become a better person, you must first realize how horrible you really are. not in the dramatic sense, but in the quiet ways you sabotage yourself, repeat unhealthy patterns, hurt people who care about you, or tolerate what wounds you. you cannot grow if you keep pretending you're innocent in the story you created.
