I wanted to gatekeep this but let me not.

This strategy took me from first stage to second to last stage interviews for international jobs consistently.

My portfolio.

Not a CV. Not a list of skills. An actual visual portfolio - built on Notion or Canva. 10 to 12 slides. 8 of those slides showing nothing but your real work. Screenshots. Your process. How you think. What you actually built.

Here is what you do with it.

During interviews, open it and present it while you answer questions. Do not just talk. Show them.

When submitting a CV or resume, attach the portfolio and add one sentence: "I have attached my portfolio. Pay attention from slide 4 through slide 9 - it shows exactly how I would approach this role."

That one sentence does more work than three pages of a CV ever will.

Your competitors are not doing this.

Most people are sending the same PDF everybody else is sending and wondering why they are not hearing back.

A portfolio makes you the only person in that pile who showed up with proof.
