🐥 Everyone, are you enjoying the fan meeting? Actually, I prepared a surprise for you this time. It’s an album that was hidden deep inside the drawer in my room. Would you like to look at it together? Alright, let’s open it. Hello. Yumeki was born somewhere in Yokohama. I also had a time when I was this small and cute. I’m on the left, and on the right is my older brother who is one year older than me. There’s a photo of me with Hurricane-chan. What kind of hand shape do you think this is? ㅋㅋㅋ Could it be Yumeki’s ‘Y’?? Maybe I was already starting to create something back then? I actually loved dancing from a very young age. At that time, I took lessons, practiced by myself, and practiced with friends. Shall I show you a bit? The child on the left is me. Oh, maybe something special started from this time? I got deeply into dancing like this, became interested in K-pop, and flew to Korea. I started as an inexperienced student, but thankfully I also had the chance to teach classes, work on choreography production, and even hold dance workshops overseas. This was when I began sharing my dance with the world. During this period, I worked a lot with K-pop artists. This is from when I worked with EXO’s Baekhyun. We appeared on music shows together and went on overseas tours, and he took really good care of me. I’m still very grateful to him. I wonder what kind of expression I had back then? ㅋㅋㅋ And then there’s Street Man Fighter, which is an essential part of my dancer life. These were battle stages that were cultivated because I was together with my teammates. Through the program, the bond within the team deepened tremendously. Together with Kooyoung and Root, we shared difficult times and grew together, becoming truly close like family. If you look closely here, you can even see Root hidden in the mirror. Because we were busy every day, I also grew a lot as a person during this time. It seems I took many photos with my teammate Root during this period. Even now, looking at them brings back so many memories. Then came the time when I participated as a dance trainer on Produce 101 Japan The Girls. While teaching and evaluating the trainees, we struggled together, felt pain together, and I felt proud watching them grow. It was a very valuable experience. When I finally saw them achieve their dream of debuting, I was truly moved. When ME:I debuted, I felt incredibly proud and also a little strange. And lastly, Boys Planet 2. Dancing was what I enjoyed the most and felt most confident in, but ever since I was little, I had a dream of singing on stage like the lyrics themselves and trying recording. When I first heard about the audition, I hesitated a lot. I was already active as a dancer and instructor, so at times I felt embarrassed about challenging myself again as a trainee. However, after consulting with the company staff, my manager, my family, and many friends, I decided to take it as my first and last challenge and applied for the audition. Being able to challenge this dream was truly a happy and fun experience. I will never forget it. The result was unfortunately disappointing, but I’m okay. Because of this program, I was able to find myself in a place where I can meet all of you like this now. For that alone, I am deeply grateful and happy. Also, Chingyu and Hyunjung, whom I became close with during that time, are both members of a dance unit. We still keep in touch often, and they are precious friends I want to stay close with for a long time. Now, this concludes Yumeki’s journey through memories.
