I think the OneyPlays guys are obviously culturally right-wing but not quite dog whistling fascists or whatever. They came into their own during the Obama years where lowbrow “offend everyone” Newgrounds humor was the popular counterculture online, and this meshed really well with the “keep video games a boy’s club” demands of gamergate. But their fame and their age I assume crystallized them in that state, and they didn’t go through that radicalizing moment that online white supremacy had around 2016. They bear the markers of the same shit as your average larpwaffen neonazi satanist but they’re the pre-metamorphosis form of those people. They’re proto-chuds. They probably still think they’re just “staying out of politics” or whatever
