Ukraine has received 4 proposals aimed at bringing a ceasefire and peace to the Russia-Ukraine war. The proposals are from India, the United States, Türkiye and Egypt.

Among these, India’s proposal has been described by Ukraine as the most comprehensive and broadest.

This is an important moment for India.

If India can help Russia and Ukraine understand each other better and bring them closer to a peaceful solution, it would be a remarkable diplomatic achievement.

And, if this actually happens, just wait and watch, a whole ecosystem will sit together and try to dismiss it. They will say it was all staged. They will find a new narrative, a new excuse, a new way to undermine it.

Because sometimes, when reality doesn’t fit the narrative, the easiest thing is to dismiss reality itself.

⚠️ New details on what happened inside the Flydubai cockpit, in Captain Smit Machchar’s own account to the Israeli PM:

1️⃣ The flight was normal. The co-pilot said he wanted to pray, something Machchar says was not unusual among local pilots.

2️⃣ Machchar faced forward while the co-pilot prayed behind him.

3️⃣ Four or five minutes later, Machchar says he was suddenly struck hard on the back of his head.

4️⃣ His first thought was catastrophic aircraft damage. Then the blows kept coming. He realised it was the co-pilot attacking him.

5️⃣ The initial blows left his vision severely blurred. He tried to fight back, but says he could barely see.

6️⃣ His next sensation was the aircraft plunging sharply. His memory of these moments remains fragmented.

7️⃣ He recalls managing to open the cockpit door once, but says the co-pilot apparently shut it again.

8️⃣ Lying on the cockpit floor, he could hear the aircraft rushing through the air and passengers screaming.

9️⃣ Machchar says he realised he had “one last fight” left. His thought was brutally simple: if he didn’t act, he was going to die.

🔟 He threw everything he had into reaching and opening the cockpit door. People outside were waiting to pounce. They entered, control was regained.

By leveraging psychological manipulation, public anxiety, and manufactured outrage, these coordinated efforts aim to join forces with the usual suspects to push a broader agenda of regime change.

The govt has been handling such disruptive tactics with kid gloves for too long; it must drop its hesitant stance, align with prevailing public sentiment, and take decisive, aggressive action to curb this deliberate strategy of chaos. This is one issue on which they'll get broader public support. People are tired. Just handle the chaos the way it should be handled.

Just watched Declassified: Operation Sindoor, which is a fantastic effort to showcase the entire unified operations of all three arms of the defense forces to teach Pakistan a lesson of their life till they go rogue again. But, whoever gave the idea of putting it behind a paywall rather than making it accessible to every citizen to watch it for free is not only doing a huge disservice to the immense efforts of our armed forces but also ensuring that the international doubting toms keep seeding misinformation. Anna(malai) has started a diff path targeting TN 1st, and may align with BJP later.
