We've been looking for an alternative for our offsite status announcements for a while, and have settled on using Bluesky for that purpose. From here on out, please check Bluesky instead:

If you live in the US or UK, please take a moment today to contact your elected officials to oppose pending laws that will be devastating to online privacy and speech if they pass: https://t.co/2t8tDaKum7
We should be starting tonight's code push sometime within the next hour, unless Life interferes! We do not expect any downtime associated with this push, unless the gods of technology mock our hubris. Keep an eye on dw-maintenance for any issues.
We're working on reducing the errors people are seeing in the evenings: they're due to high levels of traffic and a lot of the traffic is garbage. https://t.co/JKCyQcdxXC
If you are in the UK, please sign this petition and contact your MP opposing the #OnlineSafetyBill. It is terrible legislation that will destroy privacy and security on the internet and give UK government the ability to unaccountably censor any site they choose.
We are no longer blocked by the Russian state internet censorship agency. We want you to know: we don't know why they unblocked us, and we have not done anything to cooperate with them. https://t.co/J7b9dmGohL
Quick code push just now that will hopefully (๐ค) get Google indexing back for those of you who have it turned on! Report any errors at the dw-maintenance post: https://t.co/LxXkj18GIq
We've been seeing an (immense) increase in spam volume lately, so a reminder: if you get a spam comment, click the "Mark as spam" checkbox when you delete it! This puts the comment into our spam system, where we have multiple tools to discourage the spammer.
@kikibug13 If that doesn't work, or you aren't using a VPN, open a support request in Anti-Spam with your IP address (and the name of your VPN network if you use one) and we'll look into it further.
@kikibug13 If you're using a VPN, it's highly likely you've been assigned an IP that was being used for spam that we've restricted: the bulk of our spam comes from VPNs that don't screen their clients carefully enough. Try requesting a new IP address from your VPN provider.
Spam is an eternal problem on any site that accepts user-generated content, and we're constantly refining our detection and prevention systems to try to stay one step ahead of the garbage flood. Help us out by ticking the "mark as spam" box when you delete spam comments you get!
That's less urgent to do -- entry and profile spammers are easier for us to find with our usual methods, and we're especially likely to find them if the account was created very recently -- but we'd rather get 20 reports about a spammer than let them keep spamming.
