as the main coordinator nung charity event natin sa home shelter ng mga elderlies medj naiyak ako kay miguel.

storytime lang. so me ang naghanap ng shelter na pagdadausan natin ng charity event, may mga napuntahan ako before pero ang hirap mag adjust sa sched ni Miguel like asikaso buong mvo just to find one na magmamatch sa sched niya. he really brought to us the intention of doing this e, gusto niya talagang gawin kaya eager din kami to give him this event for his birthday and yung napili namin yung pinaka napulsohan ko rin talaga bukod sa nag match sa sched ni Miguel.

I've been doing occulars for almost a month din I guess and kinakausap ko talaga lahat ng managers ng facilities face-to-face to get to know the facilities better and serve our purpose. our main goal right from the start of our planning and deliberation is to find a place na di pa masyadong kilala in the hopes of boosting their community and this one is the perfect match for that goal. when i go to this facility nakita ko calendar nila, and it is not like the other facilities na napuntahan kong puno yung calendar nila ng outreach programs and donors, birthday ng staffs and elders lang nila nakalagay and yung mga weekly activities ng mga lolo at lola.

so yun moving forward on the day of the event. unang pasok palang ni Miguel super chika na siya sa mga lolo at lola hahahaha as in may program po kami talaga pero siya may sarili siyang program dun sa upuan ng mga matatanda iniisa isa niya tas kinakausap at kinakamusta niya talaga. nagmamano siya lahat at di napapagod yumuko just to reach their hand at magmano. we gave food to everyone and may isang lola dun na hindi maganda yung eyesight and naglambing if pwede si Miguel ang magpakain sa kanya nung dalawa naming food. Miguel agreed and parang mga 20 mins siyang nandun sa certain lola na yun until she finished the food,he even helped the lola drink water kasi hirap na rin talaga si lola. si Miguel pa naglagay ng straw sa bibig ni lola kasi hirap na rin pati pag inom.

after nun umikot kami sa facility while the program is still ongoing para pumunta dun sa section ng mga bedridden kasi di na kaya pumunta sa area nung facility kung asan yung event. hug hug siya sa lahat ng mga lola when we go there. may isang lola dun na di pa siya lumalapit pero umiiyak niya. super iyak si lola kaya he hugged her tas he kissed sa forehead. naiiyak rin kameng mga admins kasi kami lang kasama niya on that area.

may isang lola dun na mahina na ang pandinig pero nakakapagsalita pa ng english but the only way Miguel can communicate is writing through a small white board. they shared a lot of stories despite the communication barrier pero tuwang tuwa yung lola sa kanya 🥹 may isa pang lola on other bed na pagpasok palang tinatawag na siyang gwapo and matagal niya rin kinausap.

so ayon to wrap up this storytime, narealize ko lang na tamang bata talaga yung sinuportahan nating lahat, sobrang bait and sobrang sweet ni Miguel and no one told him to all these gestures. I just know he really wants to be there and do all of it genuinely.
