@wrhiv_72 The on ice product was the #1 team in most competitive division in the NHL in January and ended with more wins than Vegas who is 3 wins from the Cup...so I am not buying management failures as the problem.

@Yostmeister @riger1984 He was hurt, playing hurt or just plain out of gas at the end of every year. Needing a win or two in Feb or March to make the playoffs and he disappeared. I love Larks, I got his jersey, his autograph and all that but they needed more on the ice from their leader when it mattered

He is one of the best players in the NHL Oct-Dec, then he is hurt, playing hurt or exhausted when you need him to be the best player. Missing the playoffs by a game two the last few yrs getting nothing from the captain, unexcusable

@CindyJo74015980 @seiderlarkin Sometimes the guys who you expect to be best players on the ice actually have to be the best players on the ice. I love Larkin, but his epic late season failures/injuries have done nothing to help this franchise. If I could get Oct/Nov/Dec Larkin in March and April I would agree

@Wolffman96 You mean the Captain that tanks every year in March or because he misses key games while oft injured. Not sure Yzerman is the problem as much as some of players. They have changed coaches several times and every time he is excited to play for the next guy... until he doesn't
