As of today, the EU–Mercosur agreement begins to apply. Two weeks ago, in Limassol, Cyprus, I had the chance to visit D.Ellinas, a company exporting builders’ ware like plastics to Brazil, the agreement means tariffs to coming down from 16.2 % to 14.7%, then to 13.3% from 2027.
