Jesus spoke in parables because stories help people understand deeper truths.

He used normal everyday examples people could relate to. Seeds, farming, money, families, sheep. Things they already understood.

But not everyone understood the meaning behind the stories.

Some people listened with open hearts and received the message.
Others only heard a story and completely missed the point.

That’s because spiritual understanding is more than just hearing words.

Jesus wasn’t trying to entertain people with stories.
He was revealing truth to people who genuinely wanted to understand.

And honestly, it’s still the same today.

Two people can hear the same message about Jesus and respond completely differently depending on the condition of their hearts.
