my debut single, “september,” releases everywhere on 5.21. this is a song i wrote/composed about two best friends. this is a dream come true and it feels so surreal. i’m ecstatic to finally share this and thankful for the creative process that this was. God is really good to me.
Dear @lipscomb, about year ago there was a chapel featuring outrageous anti-LGBTQ rhetoric from guest speaker Siran Stacy.
I bring up this chapel not to stir the pot but to encourage you to ensure that your campus is a safer space for your LGBTQ students this year than it was
fyi your vote for trump really hurts me. as an lgbtq american, it sends the message that i am unworthy of love, a life filled with happiness, that i am sick, and that i should not be seen as an equal human being loved by God. no matter your intentions, that is just how i feel.

Some of you guys didn’t barge into diners with a cast of 20 at 11pm covered in sparkles and hairspray and terrible eyeliner, singing very loudly and only ordering deserts and apps, while talking about your high school show like you just made your bway debut and it shows
protesting is shining a spotlight on the the voices society silences. it says, “i hear you, i love you, you matter. we demand equality & justice for you.” it’s selfless & humbling.
protesting because you didn’t get your way? is complaining.

damn wearing a mask is the biggest oppression i’ve endured. wait being gay in a homophobic world tho? nahh that’s a joy & privilege. walking in public with my bones crippling in fear is a blast.
nappanee friends-
