Bricks & Minifigs is parting ways with Brandon Best and Joshua Johnson due to "a devastating social media campaign"
They say they have reached out to the family that owns the $200,000 LEGO collection to return it and offer compensation for any missing items
@ThaCdot@Maria_Mouskos You can acknowledge when your family fucks someone over and if you feel they are wrong you can take your friend of 20 years side.
@mynaaaaame9@UpNorth1201@UGOOOTWEETS Then it’s only because the certifications for all the stars hasn’t been updated because 3 billion streams is 20 million units
@OldPrince8@takecaredriz regardless bad was released in 1987 and UNTIL 1991 record sales were reported by the labels. They were not actually tracked until then. So though he did sell a ton of albums you can’t say you don’t think the label inflated them when there was no regulations? They do it now lmao.
@OldPrince8@takecaredriz Brother yes it sold out in some record stores and he sold an insane amount of copies, he is a legend. the facts are still true that those sales were heavily inflated and just a few years later after the rule changes debuts looked more like this
@mynaaaaame9@UpNorth1201@UGOOOTWEETS This is because DAMN album sales count as a unit as well as the streams. The black panther album didn’t sell anywhere near as many records as DAMN.
@OldPrince8@takecaredriz Even your own screenshot shows you’re lying 😭 it changed in the early 90’s because of this. The technology to track sales by a scanner DID NOT EXIST until 1991 https://t.co/P2qcwqVMKb
