Sorry, but no. The right to interstate travel is a constitutional one, and the simple fact is that no one has the right to say whether a person should be allowed to follow a passion for witnessing severe weather UNLESS you observe them breaking traffic laws or being otherwise reckless.
Target and charge THOSE people, but don’t sit here and try to act like any one person has more of a right to observe nature and weather than anyone else.
We as chasers also do need to police ourselves and each other to call out reckless behavior, which we are pretty good at doing all things considered.
Don’t punish us all for the bad actions of a few.
Maybe if they weren’t wasting resources making road blocks for small branches on the road (creating bigger issues) and instead standing by and waiting for real emergencies they could focus resources better.
