I know we're not supposed to gauge the demand for a bridge by the number of people swimming, but it's impossible to ignore the number of ebikes and scooters braving Richmond Ave by my house—with its freeway-spec lanes, widely-spaced signals, 40+mph traffic, and zero bike infra.
If you want to do the "bring back classical education" bit, stop being cowards and use the King James. While also not a great translation, it is much better written and more important to the history of the English language.
I'm literally always saying this. Whatever you think "real college football" looks like, it can all be written into the contract. Anything you want, there exists a number high enough that you can pay the players to agree to it. The only question is what it's worth to the schools.
The Brendan Sorsby ruling should be the tipping point that pushes college football to the obvious conclusion (which isn’t the bill in the Senate).

One of my favorite things about Houston is the bar for becoming a Houstonian is very low. I would say if you lived here during the last major hurricane you're in.
@mightylzrdking@krobbn Reading through that documentation, the TUF is very much not a LVT, kind of seems like it might even have an opposite effect. Only scales with size of improvement, not at all based on location of the property let alone value, commercial owners are exempt when property is vacant.
@evan7257 Huh. Reading the headline I thought there has to be more to this story, surely there's a more cost-effective way to move these good boys and girls, but <$200/animal seems pretty reasonable to get a dog to MSP same-day.
