Today marks two years since the devastating tornado outbreak on March 24, 2023, when eight tornadoes struck Mississippi. Among these were an EF-4 tornado that impacted Rolling Fork and Silver City, and an EF-3 tornado in Amory. The storms also affected Montgomery, Carroll, and Panola counties. We remember the 22 lives lost and the many more who were injured. As we reflect on that tragic day, we honor the resilience of the affected communities and the strength of those who have worked tirelessly to rebuild.
