Streaming services are one entity. Competing against a very different kind of media (YouTube)

This is the attention economy. Money is secondary.

Modeling/rigging for minions after Despicable Me probably was dramatically cheaper than it was for the first one. DM4 had some with the main minions but overall still probably cheaper

@VFXCentral A studio needs to emerge that can handle more than just VFX. If it can also do production or other parts of the pipeline it might have a long term success. It will be real tough for the first few years. Getting other sources of revenue will be extremely helpful to offset costs

@Animated_Antic I think we might see more sequels/prequels over the next decade or so. It’s more efficient to reuse assets (3D) a lot of investment went into building those things, why not use them again?

But I do agree, a story/series should only be as long as it’s needed

Oh this usb cable is power only and this one is data only but this other cable is both power and data but it can only support 5V2A and the specific device you’re using will ONLY work if if you use a 5V2.1A cable 😡

X = 2U ➡️ = 2(3) = 6
6 / x ➡️ 6 / 6 = 1

Parentheses multiplication is different than regular multiplication. This is why substitution works great for parentheses!
6 / 2(1+2) ➡️ 6 / 2U where U = (1+2) ➡️ 6 / x where x = 2U.

Apply parentheses to the whole equation and it makes more sense. So this would actually be

(6 / (2(1+2)))

It is not
(6 / 2) (1+2))

Alternatively sub the parentheses for x.
6 / 2x
The 6 gets divided by the entire 2x
