@RowlandRIVALS Not a hot take but an exhale. We needed that but I hope some of the guys (Moreno and Chandler) wake up a bit. This is tournament time. You gotta hustle to EVERY SINGLE loose ball. No more watching a ball hit the floor. Be the dog, go get it.
@SteinsStuds If he gets back to getting a team that matches his desired play style, then I think we'll see success. But he refuses help and keeps trying to do square peg through round hole. It won't work, frustration will build, and KY will need to find a new coach sooner than expected.
@SteinsStuds When Pope was at BYU, he was known for creating a fast-paced offense built around 3 point shooting. He was known as an offensive guru. Well he's not there now because of the problems above.
@RowlandRIVALS Anyone who is giving Barnhart a bad score is just foolish. He's been one of the best ADs of the last 2 decades. Overall, he has put Kentucky athletics in a better position. From M+W Basketball, Football, Baseball, Gymnastics, Volleyball and more I probably don't know. -- B+ or A
I truly believe you were the right man for the job when you were brought in. I also believe, similar to Coach Cal, a change of scenery is needed to reset the voice of the program. Thank you for bringing us this far. Good luck to wherever you land!
Apparently all I use twitter for these days is to talk about Kentucky sports. Thank you @UKCoachStoops for everything you've done for this program. I know this isn't how you wanted your story to end. You came into a situation that very few would have in 2013.
You brought major talent to Kentucky. Some of whom we get to watch on Sundays. You elevated the standard of the program to be discontent with 6-win (or less) seasons. You made us believe we could be a "football school" with multiple 10 win seasons.
@WildcatsTongue I agree with that. I have Kam in starting because I think for him its a rhythm thing. Let that shooting create spacing which helps Oweh be who he needs to be (the slasher).
@KySportsRadio With Oweh & Garrison seemingly taking steps back instead of foward, it hurts how cohesive the team can be if Oweh isn't playing like the player he was projected to be. Especially if the team was going to be built around Lowe/Oweh.
@KySportsRadio (5) I think there needs to be a conversation around how all these players are supposed to fit together. Do their playing styles match each other? Why is team chemistry bad. How do we fix that mid season?
