Thought experiment: What if nobody ever knew the results of your work? How would you get after it if the only visible things were your process, work ethic, and mindset?

What’s fascinating here is how the politics of competing brands actually show up physically.
Was this placement random - or deliberate?
Grouping similar services together, sure. Different space has different cost, sure. Visibility always has a price.
But is it conspiracy to think CoStar bought the space in front of Crexi - and designed their booth to block the view?
If they did I honestly respect the ruthlessness. This game gets brutal.
But there's more going on here worth looking at:
The contrast in the exhibit design is remarkable.
One is highly exclusionary, the other is open and inviting.
One is domineering, minimalist, sterile. The other warm, comfortable, and full of personality.
And the design choices feed directly into the brand messages.
One said: Hey, please come sit with us and vibe. We want to talk to you. Come to our happy hour.
One said: Book a meeting with us for a chance to win a ridiculous amount of money.
And okay, look - both strategies worked. Both had a massive turnout.
But one is more organic. And one is, honestly, a little forced.
I know people at both these brands. I’m not trying to throw shade - this is just some nerd-level observation.
But there’s a huge lesson in this:
If you use your platform and marketing to create real conversation and connection? You will get diehard fans.
People walked away from the Crexi booth feeling valued and celebrated.
They’re absolutely going to remember that.
When CoStar announced the winner of $100k, all but one walked away feeling disappointed.
You can buy attention.
But loyalty compounds.
If you are a CRE tech nerd, and a @CREXinc Pro user, you should definitely check out the new release they have using AR.
This allows you to use your app/phone/camera to survey the surrounding buildings and access the data associated with the properties.
It not only shows you what is avail for lease or sale around your immediate area, but it will also allow you to quickly access property data (contact, transaction history, etc).
I bet this is even more cool in the large markets.
I'm excited to share Minerva Mental, a weekly newsletter with mental skill-building tips to help athletes perform their best! I wish I knew these skills 25 years ago when I started sports seriously. Please share with athletes and their parents: https://t.co/4aLrtyjj3d!
