@jonathanmaze Jonathan: if you don’t follow him already on IG, Anthony Villegas (antstorm123) is the ultimate “bro” QSR reviewer. He cracks me up when a follower suggests these QSR “Frankenstein” creations for him to put together. Posts every single day. 🤦🏻 Based in San Diego.
I have counted at least 3 advertisers that David Beckham is shilling for at the World Cup.
And he’s long retired.
Soccer needs some fresh names with charisma.
@erik_engquist@bbalsam@NYCMayor If the parade started at the Statue of Liberty and everybody swam across NY Harbor, that would have made the route longer. 💡
@BenMullin Is sending that release out during the Knicks parade/ceremony and World Cup the same as a Friday afternoon news dump? Talk about bad timing.
@mikeryan “The Road Warrior?” You’d never even remotely know that from the marketing. I wonder if that will backfire or not. I’m actually more intrigued about the film now than before.
Not one local TV network covering the Knicks parade is telling their talent to shut up. No space. No air. No letting the audio do the work.
Every second has to be filled with repeating the same cliches over and over (and some showing zero Knicks knowledge too).
@robertsietsema Let me rave about the house-made pickled vegetables, which I’ve turned so many people on to. It’s an old school recipe that only 2 or 3 NYC restaurants still make. It takes 4 or 5 days to make it.
@lizkimtweets I’m in Brussels at the moment and avoiding fries, chocolate and waffles is a gauntlet nobody going to the beach this summer should ever run.
