@JoeCepec@CovertheCorner I have mixed feelings there. If you think it's wrong to suppress salaries and the ends don't justify the means with a cap that's fine. I just hate when people point to NFL dynasties to back up that position
@JoeCepec@CovertheCorner Dynasties are upsetting if they're forged with a built-in advantage like the Dodgers and not when they're built on talent like the Chiefs. Any NFL team could afford to keep Mahomes if they drafted him. Only the Dodgers can afford Ohtani
@JoeCepec@CovertheCorner If caps aren't the answer come up with a better argument then "NFL has more dynasties" because that irrelevant. Dynasties aren't bad if they're earned and not bought. A dynasty in MLB is next to impossible for small markets. KC's WS 10 years ago isn't a counter argument to that
@JoeCepec@CovertheCorner The Royals won a World Series a decade ago and have had one playoff appearance since. I thought we were talking about dynasties like the Chiefs recent run
@JoeCepec@CovertheCorner NFL is all about who can find a QB. Not market size. The Royals could never build a dynasty like the Chiefs. NFL will always have less parity because QB's dominate the game in a way no single player can in baseball
