There is a homeless encampment in south Minneapolis right now of roughly 200 individuals. They've been a growing community that has coalesced from other encampments in the area. They've set up one entrance, with security and visitor restrictions to keep the residents safe.

The correct strategy, and outlook from average citizens, is to view every human being as someone that wants the best life for themselves -> a life of meaning, holistic health, mastery, and autonomy. Someone, that if given the opportunity, will build a good life and heal.

It's about deciding, as a people, which sector will stand up and take initiative for human dignity. And I say the homelessness epidemic aught be picked up by the Healthcare industry. Social services can facilitate the integration of physical and mental health, to optimize CARE.

The city plans to force eviction on Dec. 14th, which means bringing in construction trucks to destroy and sweep up all property indiscriminately. It's hard to hold specific sectors of our fragmented system accountable, and useless to blame the entire thing.
