@dom_lucre I won't be playing it. :( I don't own a Playstation, nor will I buy one just for two awesome looking games (Laufey and Wolverine). Sony is done sending anything single player to PC. Good news, I can still play my copy of Origins Wolverine... if I can find the disc. Ha ha.
@NVIDIAGeForce This will be exploited. Don't like a character's gender? Change it. Don't like a character's race? Change it. Don't like characters that are wearing clothes? Change it. We keep seeing this in generative AI apps. AI keeps getting exploited and misused.
@Dee_Batch I believe you meant a 5090 AND a 5080. They shouldn't have shown it this early when regulars can't afford the tech. Is this going to run on the 3060s that Nvidia is bringing back for gamers?
@MoodiSadi@Pirat_Nation They should have waited until you don't need two $4000 GPUs to make it work. Waited until it worked on a 5060 ti 16GB before parading in front of people. The early push makes me wonder if the AI bubble for servers is about to bust. Nvidia romancing gamers again?
@NintendoAmerica Now that Nintendo has sued the US government over tarrifs, how do they plan to redistribute the price hike that we consumers paid if you win? You will keep the tariff money, pretend there were no tariff price hikes, and keep the msrp where it was.
@foley2k2@odinisamu@PcPhilanthropy Big tech companies are realizing they can lock nearly everyone into subscriptions to use THEIR tech. We will own nothing. They will have control over all data and ideation. You had a brilliant idea, but it was on their platform? They own it. You don't. Welcome to Neo-Feudalism!
@s1nick You were correct. Consoles were great for low $ gaming. Console maker investors have realized that subsidizing gaming has reached its peak (see nintendo, xbox, sony, pc cost increases). Next gen is going to be expensive for pc and console players. It sucks for all gamers.
@voidfreud@cithiel_@DAKKADAKKA1 The console wars are over (Sony won?). Numbers for the big players are roughly the same as their previous generations. That doesn't sit well with the "numbers always go up" investors. The next generation of consoles are not going to be subsidized. Next gen is going to be costly.
