See you soon, Phoenix. FORKS UP! 🔱

In the late ’90s, https://t.co/LfKmZBqlRY raised $82M, ran a Super Bowl ad … then was gone within a year. It’s not because the internet failed, but because hype got way ahead of reality.

I dug into why these systems sound confident even when they're wrong, what happens when entire businesses are built on tech they don't fully understand and the impact it’s having across our communities.
I echo the same thoughts as Wendy and the students quoted in this article. I am exhausted. I am drained.
6 days left. Somewhere along the way, it stopped being about thriving and started being about getting through it.

The board makes the final decision. Either side can appeal. At every stage, the Tavern remains open.
Depending on scheduling and potential appeals, that process could stretch through the end of 2026 or into 2027.
Tempe Tavern is not closed. And under Arizona law, it doesn't have to close while its case plays out.
The Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control filed a 257-page report recommending permanent revocation of the bar's license, citing it as a "clear and present danger."
Here's what the process looks like in the coming months ahead:
The DLLC's revocation recommendation goes to the Office of Administrative Hearings. Both sides present evidence before an Administrative Law Judge, who then issues a recommendation to the State Liquor Board.
My grandma turns 91 today and got a special birthday message from @Vikings star Fran Tarkenton. 🎉🏈
Happy Birthday Mimi!
She was also featured on @kare11@juliaddaniels during the @Timberwolves playoffs in 2024.

Data centers have been a hot topic in the past few years in #Arizona.
I’m working on my final story for @cronkitenews. What questions do you have about the AI bubble?
Because both investigations remain open, every report must go through detective and legal review before release. Police confirmed a public records request was submitted in December and is now in final approval through the department’s records unit.
Tempe Police say that timeline is not a separate document but embedded within the official report — and what they describe as 21 follow-up reports tied to the case.
