@JoshReed21@JesseReSimonton "Other people have probably committed crimes, maybe even committed much worse crimes! So it's actually okay that we do crimes"
@Brody_Brambell@DerekYoungKSO So you're cool with backup players betting the unders on their teams? You can't think of why that'd be a bad precedent to set?
@natew1607@spursttu@BogeyTrain4x4@kirbyhocutt This whole thing is silly anyway because if you look at TT's 26 schedule you'd realize a backup QB can probably get 10 wins by just game managing. I'd probably respect TT fans a whole lot more if they had a gauntlet of a schedule that'd justify ruining the integrity of the sport.
@natew1607@spursttu@BogeyTrain4x4@kirbyhocutt Does he have an addiction? Maybe, it's actually highly likely he does and I'd hope he gets the help he needs. But don't act like he was actively seeking help for his addiction before he got caught. Or that he shouldn't suffer consequences for his actions that he knew were wrong.
@natew1607@spursttu@BogeyTrain4x4@kirbyhocutt He only claimed he had a gambling problem once he had been caught. This wasn't some guy with an addition checking himself into rehab. This was a guy who got caught red handing and now is claiming he has an addition and needs help so he shouldn't be punished.
@GoldStandard67@Griffin_McVeigh TT fans are actually the real winners if Sorsby gets to play this fall. They can use the "Our QB bets the unders on passing yards and still beat your team" card if they win or the "Our QB is actually gambling against us that's why we lost" card if they lose.
@BenjaminGolan Gonna be a shame if Texas Tech makes it into the playoffs again and your QB has the under. But at least you can use "our QB was gambling against us" as a valid no comeback excuse to opposing fans.
@KRod_505@MattBrownEP That's what makes Indianapolis the best though! They realized this and created tunnels to connect the hotels, convention center, etc. So no reason to even deal with the cold! But yes Vegas and Orlando are definitely more desirable weather destinations
@redraidertech@Khazzeron Sure there are worse crimes, but thats a bad argument. If a player commits domestic violence (very bad), that crime won't have me question the integrity of the result of a game he plays in after committing said crime. This cannot be said of any game Sorsby would play in this year
@spursttu@BogeyTrain4x4@kirbyhocutt Consequences for actions do tend to suck. But good to know by TT fans standards people can just claim getting a DUI will hurt their alcohol addition recovery if they’re ever pulled over and cops will let them be on their way.
@kirbyhocutt “You’re actually the bad guys for attacking our addict QB. How dare you!” Fuck outta here. Can you at least let us know which bets Sorsby is on this fall so we can all profit from your complete lack of respect towards the integrity of college athletics?
@TheTobyDavis@DomMirandaTV Idk after how that second half started I would’ve wanted to also limit the amount of time Ertel had the ball in his hands. Turns out it didn’t matter. Kids the real deal
