‼️Update: OpenAI rewrote its reset article. A full banked reset now restores 5-hour + weekly only on Plus and Business Standard. Pro gets weekly only, Go gets monthly. You can only use one when a covered allowance is under 80%.

A full banked reset refreshes your 5-hour and weekly windows, and it moves your weekly reset date.

OpenAI's example: due Friday, used Tuesday. Next reset is around the following Tuesday. No Friday reset.

xAI doesn't publish the pool size, only "4x / 15x / 50x Plus." What each plan includes, what happens when you run out, and the sources:

On the X Subscription and out of usage days before reset? It's one weekly pool.

Grok, Grok Bot and Cursor all draw from it. No per-app quota, and rates vary by activity.

Claude or GPT in Cursor don't use the pool. They bill prepaid credit from the first use.

@Mark_EOCA @codeglitch Switching is optional and existing plans keep going, so no rush. Just know unifying can't be undone, so compare your usage first.

@codeglitch Three builds at once will do it. All of that draws from one weekly pool, and anything running Claude or GPT in Cursor is billed separately from prepaid credit.
