We were all surprised by the Russian withdrawal of forces from the vicinity of Kiev, which seems to have been part of the deal.

#BREAKING St Petersburg Forum this weekend, Russian President Putin showed for the first time a document agreed upon by the Ukrainian side at spring 2022 peace talks. It appears that Russia withdrew forces from around Kiev before Ukraine changed its mind.

Putin: “… here’s the document. 18 pages & addition to it. It exists. They signed it. It guaranteed Ukraine’s neutrality & as per agreement, we pulled out our military from the Kiev region. But as always, Kiev threw away this document into the junk yard of history.”

He further stated:

📌The treaty w/Kiev included provisions for neutrality & security guarantees, but they threw everything out.

📌 Kiev initialed agreement with Moscow in Istanbul, but after the withdrawal of Russian troops from near Kiev, Ukraine threw it into the dustbin of history.

A delegation of African countries headed by the President of South Africa is in St. Petersburg today, where they will present their plan for a peaceful settlement to Vladimir Putin.

Yesterday they were in Kiev, with fake air alarms going off. Zelebob has already declined their peace solution.

A protest action was held in Italy against the supply of weapons to Kiev

Italian activists from the association "Veneto - Russia" and the public committee "Verona for Freedom" held a protest against the supply of Western weapons to Kyiv.

Vladimir Putin has revealed that #Russian troops withdrew from #Kiev and other regions in #Ukraine on the basis of a peace deal agreed in #Turkiye, this casts serious doubts over Ukrainain narratives about defeat of Russia in the "battle of Kiev"

He showed African leaders and press the document at their meeting in St Petersburg. Russian journalists published the title page of the document both sides provisionally agreed to titled "Treaty on Permanent Neutrality and Security Guarantees of Ukraine"

According to the President of the Russian Federation, Ukraine and Russia agreed in principle to the draft agreement spring 2022 in Istanbul, but then Kiev refused to sign it after Russian troops voluntaraly pulled back when ordered by Moscow as part of the deal.

The text says that the UK, China, Russia, the USA, France, and Turkey would act as guarantors. Sources suggest Boris Johnston travelled to Kiev soon after to insist / threaten Zelensky not to continue with the deal.
