This time around, I am doing everything that scares me.
Pleased to announce that I just released my first collection of NFT’s on @opensea , showing passionately the ‘struggles of an African woman’ as a collection

God’s Time! Not yours! Don’t Stop Believing!
In 2019, after documenting the political space in Lagos State, I was introduced to an honorable so I could work with him as his personal photographer. He called me for a quick interview, but as a ginger guy, I borrowed a camera and went in to show my interest. He asked me a question: “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?” I told him I saw myself as an international photographer (even though I had no clue what I was saying)! To cut the long story short, after that night, he never picked my call again, lol. But I picked something from that moment—a dream I needed to achieve. How? I had no clue!
The project, titled “Resilience on the Rocks: The Unsung Heroes,” is a documentary on women in the mining industry in Africa. It highlights their strength, resilience, and contributions to the sector. This exhibition is a testament to the power of dreams, determination, and divine timing.
Remember, my friend, don't stop believing in your dreams, even when the path seems unclear. God's timing is always perfect, and your hard work will pay off in ways you can't even imagine. Keep pushing forward, and you'll achieve greatness beyond your wildest dreams!
Three months later, Arc. Olamilekan Adegbite took me in like his son to document his journey as the Minister of Mines and Steel Development of Nigeria, for which I am forever grateful!
This opportunity made me develop more interest and passion for storytelling in the mining and industrial sector. The dream and desire were present, but trust me, it got harder and tougher the moment I determined to embark on this quest! I am obviously not there yet, made lots of mistakes and still making mistakes but I failed forward and am super grateful for the experience so far! Don’t let what people tell you deceive you and make you feel less of yourself. You are trying, but the results depend on God, not you!
Starting tomorrow, the boy who grew up in a windowless home in Oluyole, Ibadan, Nigeria, with God on his side, will be exhibiting at the Africa Energy Forum (AEF) in Barcelona, Spain!
It’s incredibly inspiring to witness these women shattering stereotypes and making significant strides in an industry that has historically been male-dominated. Their determination and dedication are not only reshaping the mining sector but also setting a precedent for future generations of women in the field.
By amplifying their voices and acknowledging their accomplishments, we can pave the way for a more equitable and flourishing mining community.

At the 2024 Mining Indaba, the spotlight on women’s involvement was truly enlightening for me.
The conference went deep into the experiences of women in the global mining landscape, showcasing their resilience, expertise, and unique perspectives. From engaging conversations on safety measures to discussions on implementing sustainable practices, these women are not just participants; they are the driving force behind innovation and progress in the industry. Their presence at prestigious events like the Mining Indaba serves as a powerful statement on the significance of gender diversity and inclusion in mining.

It can feel really tough to stay patient when you're dealing with obstacles and tough times.
But you know what? Patience really does pay off in the end!
So don't give up - keep on pushing forward!
