Day Three, Graduation Five is in the books, and my heart is incredibly full after celebrating the @NimitzHS_AISD Class of 2026. Watching these 594 Cougar seniors walk across the stage tonight was a beautiful reminder of why we do this work. This class has shown so much dedication, character, and genuine Cougar pride.
Look at what these 594 incredible students accomplished together:
• An amazing 98% met their College, Career, and Military Readiness standards.
• 96% completed their college applications, keeping their eyes firmly on the future.
• 41 seniors earned the prestigious Seal of Biliteracy, honoring their ability to lead in multiple languages.
• They challenged themselves academically, earning 1,316 dual credit college hours, and they are stepping into the world with 382 industry certifications already in hand.
• We have 1 graduate heading to an Ivy League university and 15 graduates attending selective and highly selective universities across the nation!
• And because of their relentless hard work, this class was offered a breathtaking $202,447,221 in scholarships to back up their dreams.
To our Nimitz families, thank you for partnering with us, making the sacrifices, and loving these seniors through every step of their journey. To our phenomenal teachers, counselors, and campus staff—thank you for pouring your souls into these kids and never doubting what they could achieve. #AldineStory
