How we identify mushrooms and fungi. A thread that's going to keep growing for a while. Note - I'm not going to give you all the details on all fungi, this is about how we do it. I'll probably keep adding to this for days. Brace... (1)
@EdwardB79984132 I think it is an Asda van. Perhaps @asda could explain why their delivery van is parked dangerously and inconsiderately, and train their drivers not to do so.
Hey @FirstinGlasgow can you please advise your drivers to use their mirrors before changing lanes? EK19EOF, Sauchiehall Street today, pulling into the bus lane without checking for cyclists:

Hey @FirstinGlasgow can you please advise your drivers to keep their hands on the wheel and focus on driving safely, instead of trying to dictate to other road users whether or not they can use the road? SK19EOJ, Sauchiehall Street today.
Our future success relies on reversing transport ‘solutions’ of the past, such as the M8 running right through our city. To tackle the climate crisis & improve health for all.
Thrilled to get cross-party support & hopeful these ideas can be taken forward. https://t.co/P6XM8Ph52s
@RishiSunak Promising to undermine democracy and human rights is something you do a lot. Implementing those promises is nothing to be proud of. Be ashamed that you are not instead tackling government corruption and tax dodging.
@NoContextBrits "Look", when said by politicians at the start of a sentence. Also "right", when said by politicians in the context of "It is right that ...".
@elonmusk Yes. You could do something much more productive, like trying to eradicate hunger, reduce poverty, or tackling climate change. You won't be remembered in deep future history for running a website.
@MyGlasgowCC Hi, that particular incident was a van barelling south down Dalhousie St and entering the cycle lane from its north side, but really all the junctions along that stretch need clearer markings to make drivers aware that they need to give way to pedestrians and cyclists.
While riding on the Sauchiehall St cycle path today, I nearly got hit by a van coming far too fast down a side street. @MyGlasgowCC, can give way lines be painted before the cycle lane to make clear to drivers that the road is not the point at which they must be ready to stop?
The van managed to do an emergency stop, but only just. I feel safer on the road than the cycle lane, and that really isn't right. The markings need to be much, much clearer.
On Wednesday, Prof Paul Collier gave a superb lecture to @RPhilGlasgow, making a compelling argument for why decentralisation and local decision making are essential to reduce regional inequalities and to fix areas with broken economies.
