During our Founders' Week, marking 129 years of quality, compassionate, Christ-centred care, we hosted a 2-day benchmarking visit from Kagando Hospital in South Rwenzori Diocese.
As we reflected on our legacy, we also shared knowledge and best practices with fellow Church of Uganda institutions because collaboration strengthens care across our network and improves the services we deliver to the communities we serve.
A great many thanks to @UPMB_Uganda for its continued support in fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among Church of Uganda hospitals.

2COR3:17Now the Lord is the Spirit,& where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom
3:18And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image 4m one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit
Today I had the privilege of serving as Chief Guest at the Mengo Hospital Research Symposium. In my keynote, “The Hospital That Learns: Sustaining a Research Culture for Better Care at Mengo,” I explored how hospitals in Africa can move from simply treating patients to truly learning from them.
I’ve shared a few reflections here – on leadership, research, AI and what it means for Ugandan healthcare. I’d love to hear your thoughts. @UCUniversity@Rev_Dr_LidyKitz@Archbp_COU@mengo_hospital@ChurchofUganda_@RichardMulindw2

According to John Wesley, "It is every Christian’s duty to ‘gain all you can’. Gain all you can by honest work with all diligence. Lose no time in silly diversions and do not put off until tomorrow what may be done today. Do nothing by halves; use all the common sense that God has given you and study continually that you may improve on those who have gone before you. Make the best of all that is in your hands." @Online_COU@Archbp_COU@ChurchofUganda_@stfrancis_mak@UCUniversity

Health is a foundation of a thriving economy and vibrant social life!
Yesterday, we successfully conducted an outreach in Kamuli, reaching nearly 300 individuals. Our services included consultations on medical issues, ophthalmology, basic lab investigations, and dental care.
Happy Birthday to my incredible friend, my coolest dude and the father of my children. I thank God for your life, love, and the unwavering strength you bring to our family. May God’s presence overshadow and distinguish you from all @Prof_Kitayimbwa @Online_COU
