last night we did apps at Mallard and dinner at Rice Restaurant. the duck wings at mallard were incredible— like fall off the bone, melt in your mouth. or so wes (who eats meat) says. and i think Rice is one of the must underrated restaurants.

tonight’s dinner was good (ginger garlic shrimp) but the best part of this meal is the winter spiced cranberry sprite. i’m not even a soda drinker and this is the best soda i’ve maybe ever had ? @Sprite please sponsor me the winter cranberry soda changed my life
last night i went to a work dinner party catered by @RosesLuxury
i had dinner last year at Little Pearl and i was overwhelmed by their incredible service. last night, the chef once again catered to all of my dietary needs and made a truly special meal. A must visit restaurant.
crabcakes over a green bean and farro salad. i’ve been trying to figure out more winter friendly fish recipes recently. this dinner was delicious but definitely didn’t scream winter
@BarredinDC watching when harry met sally always made me want to drag a christmas tree down a city street. we bought a fake one this year from the michael’s in potomac yard :/
wes is from wisconsin so he gets us a coffee advent calendar from the coffee shop by where he grew up. best way to start my december mornings :) shoutout @dccoffee
surprised wes with some bbq wagyu beef as a “thank you for taking care of me post wisdom teeth.” this was our first time at @lovemakotodc and i reallllly liked it. more food than i could have possibly hoped to eat, and i got to grill all my veggies in wagyu fat which rocks.
not doing a lot of eating out cuz i got my wisdom teeth removed this weekend. been making a lot of pasta, ordered plnt burger tonight. planning to take wes to a “thank you for doing everything for me” dinner next week. thinking @lovemakotodc
