@squeezistChrist Ebay is a algo that matches buyers to sellers! What could a good man do running such a thing? Where have we seen bad institutions that have this charge but fail.? If you had a company that can verify and attest to validity of things. Put all these in a soup and feast
the project i’m referring to is @qrcoindotfun, a protocol in the @base and @clanker_world ecosystem.
i’ve been following it since clanker szn when it first ran to an 8m ATH. recently, with the launch of the “CEF” (Clanker Eco Fund), i started digging back into the ecosystem to find teams still building, and @qrcoindotfun stood out.
i went deeper, reached out to the founder @0FJAKE, and we spoke. he walked me through the long-term vision, what they’ve been building recently, and what’s coming next. the core idea is simple but powerful: attention isn’t free and onchain, it should be monetizable.
especially in crypto as everything runs on attention, so capturing and pricing it properly is inevitable.
i’ve held $QR before, but what really flipped me bullish again is the founder. jake is sharp, high-integrity, and relentless. his background speaks for itself, started in tech m&a (same background as me), then became chief of staff to @balajis.
he also runs the “Pod of Jake” podcast, where he’s hosted names like @VitalikButerin, @brian_armstrong, @mcuban, etc. strong network, strong positioning.
on the builder side, he’s not new either, previously built @BaseColorsNFTs (a color-based NFT primitive) and @kondodotfun (wallet cleanup via batch swaps).
but beyond credentials, what matters is execution. despite brutal PA and market conditions, he’s doubled down and kept building. now with @clanker_world backing $QR through the CEF, there’s real support behind it.
i think $QR has a real shot at reclaiming and pushing past previous highs long term.
Introducing the Clanker Ecosystem Fund (CEF)
The mission of the CEF is to distribute protocol fees to creators and communities who positively contribute to the Clanker and Farcaster ecosystem
$8m has bought 14% of the $CLANKER supply, yet has not proven to be an effective use of funds
Sometime in the next few weeks, we'll be redirecting protocol fees back to the ecosystem, as well as using it to fund ongoing Clanker infrastructure
more soon -- who's running the fund, how the splits work, and how to get involved.

@ErikVoorhees My representative told me that it is imperative to protect the institutions that have gotten us this far. Im game to get rid of my band and my representative.
