Prof. Ayse Altintas is a leading researcher From Koç University School of Medicine In Turkey where she works as an academician and chair of the Neurology Department. In addition she established her research lab at Koç University Research Center for Translational Medicine (KUTTAM), she is currently focused on inflammatory demyelinating diseases of the central nervoussystem, primarily #MS, #NMOSD and #MOGAD, with a goal tounderstand disease mechanisms at the immunopathologicallevel and identify potential biomarkers.

Her involvement in The MOG Project will help bring our resources to those in Turkey and her advice and insights based on years of research in rare neuroimmune conditions including #MOGAD will help to guide future development of educational resources for patients globally.
