I intentionally burn bridges because I believe wholeheartedly in my ability to succeed no matter what, and I’m never putting myself in a position to need anyone who harmed me.
Jordin Canada on fighting through defensive pressure & adversity:
“We still have to figure it out, regardless. And I'm not trying to make an excuse for the officiating. Obviously, there are things that we as a team have to improve on, but I'm just saying things have to be a little bit fair when we are playing.”
Question by @CrushSportsTalk
If the global north didn’t intentionally try to pass off doing absolutely nothing to address climate change as progressive climate policy for damn near 2 decades we wouldn’t be here.
The climate issue is a prime example of what I mean by reformism being too slow, too minimal and too easy to retract. Addressing the climate rapidly required drastic changes in production globally. The ruling class said no. So now you get to roast alive.
In the post game presser Rhyne said at one point The Dream were the best defensive team in the league but she doesn’t know where they r now because they had to switch up how they play because of how the Refs officiate them. Teams r allowed to beat them up but the Dream can’t take advantage of their mismatches b/c of the foul calls
Jordin Canada described tonight’s officiating as “awful.” “I don’t know how many times Angel [Reese] had to get beat up in the paint for her to get a foul call. It was blatant tonight.”
