The future of AI apps is leaning towards one super app that you can use for work, personal use, building apps.
@AnthropicAI, @OpenAI, @grok and most others are iterating towards that future.
This is a disadvantage for Microsoft. The org chart tends to each org building their own app plus they are also not allowed to step into the other org's lane.
For example the GitHub Copilot app comes closest to the ChatGPT (Codex) app but the GHCopilot subscription is unlikely to have access to Microsoft Teams data because that is a Microsoft Copilot add-on subscription to get access to WorkIQ (which provides API access to Microsoft Graph).
Meanwhile, just a $20 subscription to OpenAI/Anthropic gets you access to all of it today.
I can use Codex to manage my Teams and Outlook apps and anything and with the Computer Use feature which provides a far superior experience, might actually be more secure.
I'll share a recording later of ChatGPT Work (Codex) that's going to surprise a lot of folks (it surprised me).
China understands that leadership in AI is not just about building the most capable models. It is about shaping the rules, norms, and institutions that will govern how AI is developed and used around the world. Xi Jinping's remarks today at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai are an important reminder that Beijing intends to lead on both fronts. Beijing is moving with purpose, bringing nearly 30 countries along with it as signatories to a new China-backed AI organization, giving it a growing platform to shape international standards and extend its influence around the world.
It didn’t have to be this way; in fact, the United States once led this effort. During my time in the Biden Administration, we secured voluntary commitments from frontier AI companies on safety, security, and trust. My colleagues and I then worked with the G7 to internationalize those principles, as well as with the UK on safety. We secured the first ever UN General Assembly resolution on AI by broad consensus.
That work gave the United States a strong foundation from which to lead. It showed that innovation and governance could advance together, and that America could bring other countries with us.
Meanwhile, the Trump Administration’s approach to AI governance continues to swing between embracing it and rejecting it. That inconsistency — together with our cratering credibility and growing trust deficit around the world — puts our technological leadership and our diplomatic influence in peril.
If America's approach to AI governance continues to vacillate and if we continue to alienate countries near and far, we will cede far more than a diplomatic initiative. We will allow China to shape the rules, standards, and norms that will govern the defining technology of this century. The question is not whether those rules will be written, but who writes them. I, for one, would prefer it to be America.

And there you have it.
Donald Trump released these documents tonight believing they would finally prove the 2020 election was rigged against him.
Instead, his own release reinforced the exact opposite: Russia interfered to damage Joe Biden and benefit Donald Trump.
The central @HunterBiden -Burisma bribery smear was built on fabricated claims from an FBI informant with Russian contacts, a man now serving six years in federal prison. Meanwhile, Hunter Biden is winning millions in court over defamatory lies.
Trump tried to expose a conspiracy against himself and accidentally exposed the operation that benefited him.
Absolute, breathtaking incompetence.
Thanks for releasing the receipts, Donald!

A direct, unmistakable message to Vladimir Putin. For his final Bastille Day as President, Emmanuel Macron has transformed France's national parade into a massive display of European unity and military deterrence.
Marching down the Champs-Élysées are allied European troops—including Swedish soldiers—symbolizing a united, integrated European defense shield. This high-profile parade serves as the military backdrop to the "Coalition of the Willing" summit taking place in Paris, emphasizing that Europe is ready and capable of securing its own borders and standing firm against Russian aggression. A historic farewell from Macron, cementing his legacy of European strategic autonomy. #BastilleDay #Paris #EmmanuelMacron #Nato #Sweden #EuropeDefense #Geopolitics

The path to launch is filled with obstacles and success is only possible through the tireless efforts of many working together towards a common goal. “Critical Path” continues the ongoing Starship series, following SpaceX engineers through the final days before launch of the first Starship V3 and the challenges that come with development of the world’s most powerful and fully reusable rocket.
At the heart of Apple’s suit against OpenAI is former iPhone chief Tang Tan, who was famous for “flying very close to the sun,” according to a person who worked with him. “Tang is well known for moving fast, playing fast and loose and breaking things.” https://t.co/hTIAy4qSdz
