It's just a solid model rig (you can see the rig setup in the linked post) paired with any soft bone simulation asset. I use Unity, so if you do too, just search for "soft bones" in the Asset Store. From there, it's just about tweaking the sliders and experimenting until it feels right

@BroUSurvived Actually, I'm still thinking about adding a light background story. I had an idea for some occasional dialogues between the cats at the start or end of levels. Nothing too complicated. But I'm still not sure if the game needs it. We'll see👀
