@leopignataro@James_M_South My company still works on WPF and WCF projects. I am still maintaining Web Forms and https://t.co/YPlpCi5AxR MVC 5 projects.
@buizerd2050@James_M_South Preach. I’m still supporting Web Forms and MVC 5 / Web API 2 apps. Some of my colleagues are still working with WPF and WCF. I’ve had to start working on side projects just to start closing the knowledge gap I have.
@zuess05 Most importantly, a senior dev NEVER runs an initial prompt in ACT mode. Everything stays in PLAN mode until they have what they want, and then either turn ACT mode on or just copy and paste the final output. I personally do the latter because I’m cheap, but I splurge when needed
@zuess05 A senior dev will often give the same prompt to multiple models and compare the outputs, and may use a hybrid of the results from each model. After that, the dev will likely ask one or both models to code review the hybrid impl.
@Samaytwt On the other hand, the Claude layout was less visually appealing but broke everything down into logical components. So, future me will probably use Flash to create the UI, and pass the markup to Sonnet to break it out into separate components.
@Samaytwt So I did an experiment recently with Sonnet and Flash. I gave them the exact same prompt asking to create a root layout for a SPA. Flash did a better job visually, but all of the markup was in the layout component rather than broken down into sub components.
