@Meg_Medina I tried using Scrivener too, but found myself going back to Microsoft word. Although when my characters speak Spanish the words are underline in Red. We should be allowed to fuse languages when typing and not see RED. I hope your on your next book.

Finished LOUISIANA'S WAY HOME by Kate diCamillo, and oh my heart. This over-the-top story manages to show humanity's flaws while capturing the best we have to offer. So many characters and scenes to love! 💜

I will be attending a one week writing retreat at Highlights Foundation in May. I remember reading Highlights magazines when I was a kid. Yesenia Flores Diaz, a fella VONA alumna will be teaching. Can’t wait!

@IsabelWriter09 My two sisters and I got our ears pierced in our tweens. My mom waited because she was worried about us getting infections and having an extra expense of having to buy earrings. Most of our friends had their ears pierced as infants. It was the norm to get them done as infants.
