Supermarket prices are insanely high:

Box of Special K = £4.25
Coffee jar = £8
Beef steak mince = £7.10
Boneless salmon fillets = £8

£27.35 for just four items. This is completely unaffordable for millions of people.

Here’s the brutal truth about those NHS “improvements” from a GP.
@wesstreeting
The government is lying to you;

SIR – Congratulations to Allison Pearson for her article on hospital waiting lists (Comment, February 11).

I am a senior GP who came out of retirement to support the NHS during the pandemic. Since then I have continued to work two days a week.

I see about 64 patients each week, many with complex medical problems that require specialist referral. Often they have had to wait between four and six months before being seen. Patients whom I referred last October tell me that they only have an appointment booked for July. Others inform me that their appointments have been cancelled, and they are either waiting for a new appointment or have been given another months away.

I can see no evidence of any reductions in waiting times. I actually breathe a sigh of relief when a patient tells me that they have private health insurance, as I then know they will be seen speedily. I often tell patients that I feel ashamed of the NHS.

After all the Labour promises to deal with the appalling A&E crisis - it’s got even worse. It’s scandalous that so many people have to wait so long for urgent treatment, many left on trolleys in corridors. I thought you were going to fix this @wesstreeting ?

[Allison Pearson @AllisonPearson]

Huge scandal in the NHS. 🚨
Waiting lists are not coming down for patients,

This makes my blood boil. 9-11pm @GBNEWS:
💣 9.30pm: Rape Gang Exclusive from @CDP1882 + interview with @fionagoddarduk
🚨 10: National inquiry trying to cover-up Pakistani Muslim aspect
🔥 10.20: Daily Express journo who accused Sadiq Khan of a cover-up

[Patrick Christys @PatrickChristys]

Today’s news is that Sadiq Khan appears to have known about rape gangs operating in London. Which makes this video of him all the more disgusting.

[Piers Morgan @piersmorgan]

Why is the disgusting, senseless, unprovoked murder of 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska by a man named Decarlos Brown Jr. on a train in Charlotte NC not getting more media attention?!

[Piers Morgan @piersmorgan]

In Britain, we now jail the likes of Lucy Connolly for dumb, incendiary social media posts (that she deleted), but 1000s chant about killing people at a major music festival, live on our publicly funded broadcaster, and nobody seems to care. Outrageous double standard.

[The British Patriot @TheBritLad]

Two 13-year-old girls, who were heavily intoxicated and barely clothed, were found in a house alongside SEVEN Pakistani men.

A worried neighbor alerted the police,
who then arrived and arrested the girls, charging them with being drunk and disorderly.

Absolutely sickening.

[Patrick Christys @PatrickChristys]

Labour’s claim that they can reinstate the winter fuel payment because Rachel Reeves has magically fixed the economy is just another massive lie

[Patrick Christys @PatrickChristys]

This is horrendous

[Robert Jenrick @RobertJenrick]

Labour’s Immigration White Paper is out.

It’s a white flag for yet more mass migration - legal and illegal.

For the boats to keep coming. For our borders to stay open.

Its another shameful betrayal of voters.

Here’s why 🧵

[Patrick Christys @PatrickChristys]

A disgrace. I’d expect firearms officers to walk out again over this. Armed police, soldiers and prison officers are on the frontline. They deserve protection and respect. Not relentless hounding and prosecutions https://t.co/IArnitM4Mu

[GB News @GBNEWS]

'They're selling out Britain!'

@PatrickChristys says voters will never forgive Labour if they go ahead with plans to encourage landlords to house migrants at the taxpayer's expense.

[Patrick Christys @PatrickChristys]

Wouldn’t it be better if we didn’t let them into Britain in the first place?

[BBC Sport @BBCSport]

David Stancombe has finished the London Marathon!

His daughter was one of the three girls killed at a dance class in Southport last year, and he was running to raise money for charities in his daughter's name.

They did it for their girls.

David Stancombe and Sergio Aguiar, Elsie and Alice’s dads, have completed the London Marathon.

[Paul Embery @PaulEmbery]

The fathers of two of the young girls murdered in the Southport massacre have just completed the London marathon in memory of their daughters. I am truly in awe of these brave men - Sergio Aguiar (father of Alice) and David Stancombe (father of Elsie).

This Birmingham bin man, & father of 5, is now set to be £8,000 a year worse off because of Birmingham council.

The national media wants you to think hard working, family men like this are the problem. People like him are the backbone of the country.
